Uffizi Gallery , my private tour
One of my teachers told us during the course of study: “ The Uffizi is not a big museum but a great museum “. She (Prof. Maria Grazia Zatti) was right !
The responsibility of accompanying my clients in the Uffizi is huge, always , but the opportunity to talk about masterpieces of humanity is one of the most beautiful things for those who make my job.
What are we talking about
The Uffizi Gallery is the third museum in Italy as number of visitors from all over the world. Many guests of our city are willing to come halfway around the world to visit "at least" this gem!!
Why a tour here
During this Tour we will consider some of the most important masterpieces of this museum. The Uffizi Gallery is probably the only museums that hosts many works that were realized by the artists (centuries before) not far at all from were we now see them! The eyes and the hands of those artists found inspiration for their works whatching the same things, the same buildings, the same streets, the same sky that you can also look when you are in Florence. In short, the Uffizi Gallery is a time machine that brings us closer to the thoughts and ideas of the personalities of the Renaissance. Are you ready for a step back in time ?
Who and why
Obviously we can not enter a place like the Uffizi Gallery without first talking about "who" needed this new building in Florence, "why" someone wanted it (the Uffizi wasn't built to be a museum!) and "who" built it.
In other words, we will also know more about the Medici family!
Some of the artists who will keep us company during the tour will be Giotto, Simone Martini, Gentile da Fabriano, Masaccio, Filippo Lippi(one of the teacher of Botticelli), Filippino Lippi(one of the students of Botticelli), Piero della Francesca, Botticelli (video), Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Titian, Bronzino, Vasari etc..
The lenght for this private Tour is 3 hours
Tour rates in euro, per group:
1 person=120,00 ; 2 people=156,00 ; 3 people=171,00 ; 4 people=186,00 ; 5 people=201,00 ; 6 people=216,00 ; 7 people=231,00

Do we need to buy tickets in advance to visit the Uffizi?
Yes, you do. The full price ticket costs 8,00 euro (or 12,50 euro in case of temporary exhibitions)+ 4,00 euro reservation fee. I can reserve the tickets for you in advance (if we still find availability) and you will pay for the tickets once we will be at the museum.
Will we skip the line with the advanced tickets?
We will skip the long line but we will have a kind of short line anyway. We won't be the only visitors with reserved tickets.
Is this museum and... your tour too boring for kids?
I think that every tour can be boring or not it depends how a tour guide is able to be “on” during the tour. Besides that you know your kids better than I do :)
Do you seriously want to bring us through a museum for 3 hours?
Yes I do, but don't worry there is a bar inside the Uffizi in you need a break.
Hmm ,can we arrange this tour shorter than 3 hours?
Of course you can, all my tours are tailor made.
Can we mix this tour with other tours?
Yes you can.
